What are PYM's mission & values?

PYM’s mission is to provide safe and effective stress and anxiety relief products while building a movement to support mental health. We believe in community, advocacy, and giving back. What does PYM mean?

PYM stands for “prepare your mind,” and also happens to be Zak (our Co-Founder)'s middle name :)

Are you cruelty-free?

We’re committed to being cruelty free: this means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards.

What does GABA do?

Research has shown that the amino acid GABA, a naturally occurring neurotransmitter in the brain, supports anxiety relief and elevates mood.

Does PYM contain any known allergens?

Do NOT take PYM if you are allergic to coconut, milk, wheat, peanuts or tree nuts.

Is PYM scientifically-backed?

The ingredients in PYM have research-backed benefits and PYM is preparing our own scientific trials this year.

Is PYM habit forming?

PYM is non-habit forming and non-psychotropic.

How do adaptogens work?

In the most basic sense, adaptogens are a specific group of plants, mainly herbs and mushrooms, that help to support the body's ability to fight stress. These herbs or plants are non-toxic and have been used for centuries in Chinese herbal medicine and Indian Ayurvedic traditions. Adaptogens work by supporting the body’s ability to more quickly return to balance in times of stress. Adaptogens can also help manage cortisol levels.*

How do amino acids work?

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins in our bodies; they’re essential to grow, repair and maintain muscle tissues. Amino acids also play a vital role in building and supporting neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine. Numerous studies have shown that amino acids’ ability to support normal hormone and neurotransmitter function can help manage feelings of stress and anxiety.*

Do the Citrus Mood Chews contain citric acid?

Original Mood Chews - Citrus flavor do contain citric acid. Got a citrus allergy? We have a new flavor in the works...coming soon!

Do mood chews contain fiber?

Mood chews contain 2g of fiber per chew.

Is PYM vegan?

No, PYM is not vegan but we’re working on a vegan version.

Is PYM sugar-free?

Yes, PYM is 100% sugar-free!

Does PYM contain gelatin?

Yes, PYM does contain gelatin. We are working on a gelatin-free version.

What ingredients are in PYM?

The active ingredients in PYM Original Mood Chews are GABA, L-Theanine and Rhodiola (Rhodiola rosea). Each mood chew contains 125 mg of GABA, 50 mg of L-Theanine and 25 mg of Rhodiola. A serving size is two chews, so double those quantities to apply to each serving. Other ingredients: soluble tapioca fiber, allulose, gelatin, inulin, acacia gum, soluble corn fiber, color added (fruit and vegetable extracts), citric acid, natural flavors.

When should I take PYM?

Take 1-2 chews at the start of your day or prior to a stressful situation. Effect should last approximately 2 hours. Do not exceed 20 chews in one day. OR Treat PYM like a daily vitamin, take it at the start of each day to help prepare your mind to handle whatever gets thrown your way. Take PYM 30 minutes before going into a stressful situation to help prepare your mind to best manage what you anticipate is coming. Take PYM as soon as you notice that you’re feeling tense, anxious, overwhelmed, or stressed out. Expect to feel better in about 30 minutes.

Does PYM expire?

When stored at room temperature, PYM has a shelf life of 14 months.

Can I take PYM while pregnant or breastfeeding?

The ingredients in PYM are not recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Is PYM safe for kids?

Keep out of reach of children, and consult your pediatrician prior to giving PYM to a minor.

What's the maximum dose of PYM I can take in a day?

We recommend taking 1-2 chews at the start of your day, and then as-needed before you encounter a stressful situation. Do not exceed 20 chews in one day.

Do I need to take PYM with food and water?

PYM can be taken with or without food or water. We recommend you do not take PYM with coffee or caffeine.

How will PYM affect me? What will I feel?

PYM is doing its job, then you should feel centered, okay, capable, good, neutral, able to do what you need to do. It’s subtle, and that’s the point. No tingles, jitters or buzzed feelings. We call it refreshing calmness.

When will my order ship?

Typically, within 24-48 hours.

What is your return policy?

We don't accept returns, as PYM is a food grade item. If you'd like to request a refund, please reach out to support@youcanpym.com with your order number to receive a refund request survey. Refund requests will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Is your packaging sustainable/compostable/recyclable?

PYM’s shipping box and our tins are 100% recyclable.

How do I create an account?

Click the Login button at the top right corner of our homepage, or go to [https://youcanpym.com/account/login.](/content/account/login "https://youcanpym.com/account/login"/index.html) After creating an account, existing customers can view order history, and manage account and subscription details. When you click Create an Account, enter your details and then check your email for a message that says "Customer account activation". You'll need to open that email and click Activate your account.

How do I cancel my order?
